Why ‘Silkie’ Touch?

It’s not just because our ladies are Silkie smooth and has nothing to do with Malaysian hair products or funny looking chickens!

Silkies (more common spelling Selkies, but domain names and Google searches make the alternative better!) are from Celtic Mythology, amongst others. Part Human, part Seal, usually Female, these beautiful creatures just want to go out into the water and play with their buddies. But then nasty men come along hoping to entrap them into a life of servitude, offering hollow promises like love, fulfillment and obedience, turn them into housewives, and steal their coats so they can’t go back to the water.

The aim here is to ensure there are always coats available when you want to come out to play 😉
