ITA National Squads World Cup Training Camps 2023 – 2024 – Updated

As you may have seen in the ITA Newsletters the focus is now switching to preparations for the World Cup in July 2024. We need to step out efforts up again after the 2022 hangover, weather disruptions and confusion over the 2023 Euros. Hopefully you’ve got your sunshine and family / friends doses over the holiday season and can now concentrate on getting the gang back together and playing as a unit again. Rory and I will do our best to make the sessions fun, informative and beneficial so look forward to seeing ye all out on the paddock soon. Camp schedule is as per below:

Training Camps Dates 2023

• Saturday 26th August 2023 – DLSP RFC – 10:00 to 15:00

All women who wish to be considered for women’s open, mixed open, women’s 27s and mixed 30s should attend so the ITA can make informed decisions about which teams to nominate for the World Cup.

• Saturday 30th September 2023 – DLSP RFC – 10:00 to 15;00
• Saturday 28th October 2023 – DLSP RFC – 10:00 to 15:00
• Saturday 25th November 2023 – Wicklow Rugby Club – 10:30 to 15:00
• Sunday 17th December 2023 – Sport Ireland Indoor Pitch – 11:00 to 16:00

Note: There is now a training camp in December 2023!
All of the above dates are the last Saturday of the month.

Training Camp Dates 2024

• Saturday 13th January 2024 – Sport Ireland Indoor Pitch – 11:00 to 16:00
• Saturday 10th February & Sunday 11th February 2024 – Sport Ireland Indoor Pitch – 10:00 to 15:00
• Saturday 9th March 2024 – Sport Ireland Indoor Pitch – 13:00 to 18:00
• Saturday 13th April 2024 – Sport Ireland Indoor Pitch – 10:00 to 15:00

Note: all of the above dates are the 2nd Saturday of each Month.
